Shipping Policy

Generally, we attempt to ship orders placed before noon Monday-Friday on the same business day. However, we are currently experiencing longer than usual processing times. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

We ship on business days. Most orders placed after 11AM on Friday will not begin processing until the following business day, Monday.

The Power Tool Store ships orders using Fed Ex Ground, unless expedited shipping is selected. The Fed Ex Transit Time map below gives rough estimates on shipping times from our Wisconsin based warehouse. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses, so please provide a FED EX deliverable shipping address to prevent delivery delays. The transit times shown are not guaranteed but indicate expected ship times under normal conditions.

We offer expedited delivery via Fed Ex for most orders. Guaranteed delivery times are based on business days which excludes weekends and holidays. If you require delivery by a specific date and have questions, we encourage you to contact us for more information. The Power Tool Store makes every effort to process orders as quickly as possible to ensure fast delivery. However, we cannot be responsible for delivery times of shipping providers.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do not ship internationally. We only ship to locations within the United States.

 

HAWAII & ALASKA

Hawaii and Alaska are not covered under our standard shipping, contact us for more options.

 

SHIPPING OVERSIZED PRODUCTS

Some oversized products will have shipping charges noted during the checkout process.

In order to better serve our customers, there are some items that we ship direct from the manufacturer to expedite delivery. While most orders are processed very quickly, within 24-48 hours of receipt, there are circumstances when the order may be delayed due to lack of inventory from the manufacturer.

 

FREIGHT DELIVERY POLICY

All oversized products (dust collectors, drill presses, air filtration systems, oversized guide rails, etc.)  are delivered on a freight truck. These deliveries are unable to be expedited. The liftgate service is included in the delivery. The liftgate service lowers the pallet to ground level, but you will be responsible for moving the pallet into its final destination.

Orders being shipped using freight/LTL as the delivery method are unable to be cancelled or modified after the order has been confirmed with the manufacturer. Orders are usually confirmed with our vendors within 24-48 hours of your order being submitted to The Power Tool Store. Please contact us by phone at (920) 336-7440 if you wish to cancel your order.

Once a freight item is in transit, we are unable to modify the shipping address. You will be responsible for any additional fees associated with any changes after the order has been confirmed.

It is important that upon delivery, you fully inspect the pallet as received. If you notice any cuts, dents, dings, or other marks on the outside of the pallet, please take photographs and note this on the Bill Of Lading (the paper you will sign for delivery). Retain a copy of the Bill Of Lading from the shipping company, and contact us by phone immediately at (920) 336-7440. Do not contact the shipping company or the manufacturer, as we are the seller of the product. Freight claims have a very short window for us to submit to the carrier so we will need this information within 1 day of delivery. We are unable to guarantee that a freight claim submitted after 24 hours of delivery will be accepted.
